How do you define poppers?

A fly that floats and is intended to make a sound/splash when retrieved?

What about divers and gurglers, aren't they a kind of poppers?

How about foam cicadas, or other foam imitations of insects that land on water...

Looking forward to input before deciding upon my pattern.

Henrik Paypal is fine. We just need to find out what it might cost. Divers, gurglers, skaters like the ska opper are all good. I think something like a cicada and the like fall into terrestrials and not the noise makes like a popper. The first page has been updated.

K. Disregard my pm then mate. If a slider is ok I'll put my hand up to do a top water shrimp.

I've had the pleasure of receiving one of Kirk Dietrich ' s poppers and if the quality of these is anything like that then all i can say is .... wow...

I've always considered a slider to be a form of popper even if it doesn't "pop". Sort of a stealth popper. If it's allright, I will tie some sliders as my popper.
