Well a while ago i went searching for a new vice.To the recommendation from a few members i went and picked up a Danvise.Well this would be my first decent vice.I have no complaintes about it.The vice was designed and made be Al Beatty.Went from a vise i got with a tying kit to the danvice. This is a true rotary vice. But to use it watch the video that comes with it.Tried to figure why i was not getting a smooth rotation out of it.Man i should learn to read or watch directions first.I did look at the more expensive vices but for product and money i believe the Danvice is one of the best buys i have made .Not only a great product design but over all great product.Holds every size hook nicely.Has bobkin rest as well that has come in handy a lot.Man i wish i would have bought this vice as my first.

Al beatty let me compliment you on a great design and product that you have put out there.I also recommend this vice to all beginners and anyone wanting to upgrade from a tying kit.
Deep in the heart of every man is a longing to live as God designed.
Nowere is the freedom to do that more possible than in the wilderness and beauty of God'screations.
Fly rod in hand fish on.
