  1. My family and I use Chernobyl Ants all the time for Bass, Gills and Crappie. They work wonderfully and hold up pretty well also. Kyle
  2. Kyle Hand

    Congrats

My girls bought me a little plaque that reads, "Their is a special bathroom in heaven for the father of girls". I can tell you right now, buy stock in toilet paper, makeup companies and feminine products. It might pay off in the long run. Take care of your "girls", all three of them. Kyle
  3. Damian Sorry I missed this. Congrats to you and momma and grandma. I too have two daughters, not twins, and they are precious. I am also a grandpa. I have one granddaughter. It is true they grow up entirely too fast, your wallet will always be empty, and the little bastards that come sniffin' around the house................... My girls got to the point that they would not bring their boyfirends home any more. They said I made the boys nervous. I told them we wanted to keep it that way. All you can do is raise them right and hope they make the right decisions and down the road, find someone that will take care of them and treat them right. Kind of the whole ball of wax in a nutshell. Anyway, congrats on the healthy babies and healthy momma. I love the names. Kyle
  4. Dude, I think you need to hold out at the next anniversary, etc., to make sure you get a new fly tying table, room, set-up. See how that works for ya. Oh, and by the way, good luck with that. Kyle
  5. I'm thinking there are a couple ways to do it. As indicated, you can hold one end and tie it shut, then the other end, however you might look at then using epoxy or something like that to protect the rattle and the tubing if you are going to bottom-bounce it. You can also attempt to tie the rattle directly to the hook, then cover with tubing or foam or whatever. I have a friend of mine who drills a hole in the foam with Dremel tool then buries the rattle inside and closed it up with epoxy or somesuch. Just a couple ideas. Kyle
  6. I will be tying Thursday, Friday and Saturday, hopefully in the vicinity of Stack. Kyle
  7. OK fellas Here is a little damsel that would work in warm or coldwater. I use it here in Texas and have had great success with it this past year. I have been working on this damn thing for 20 years and this is the latest (and best) version. Easy to tie and lots of fun to fish. Kyle
  8. A new addition to the fly pattern database has been submitted by Kyle Hand: CDC Damsel (click link for more info)
  9. Hey all For those of you that want to stack your bucktail, for whatever reason, use a glass tube to do it. I use glass cigar tubes or glass test tubes. It does a great job compared to a regular stacker. You will be surprised at the results. Just a little info. Kyle
  10. I may go fishing tomorrow for bass and bluegill. Might be kind of a "coldwater" trip though as it has been kind of cold down here. Oh what the heck, go anyway. Kyle
  11. tt Mine will go out in the mail tomorrow. Bakers dozen for the swap and few extra for the swapmeister. Did not toe tag them but mine are damsel adults. It is one of my own patterns that works quite well around here. Kyle
  12. Hey everybody I'm done and need an address to send these. 12 for the Swap and a few more for the Swapmeister. I tied a combination nymph which is a pretty good searching pattern for me, Pheasant tail abdomen with Red squirrel thorax and a bead. Best of both worlds. Size 16. Kyle
  13. I'm also in if we can go April 1 or later. Kyle Hand
  14. Doesn't matter the amount. I will just have to charge more. :j_k: Kyle
  15. I'm in. Will let you know the fly. Kyle
