So I got my first steelhead ever on my own fly this week. biggrin.png

The Pink Rabbit and Purple Fox Steelhead Sticker - cone head version!

It's a bit of a mouthful and sounds more like something you'd name a dildo, but hey-ho!

Yes, and the pic of your reel and fly is really nice.  You should frame it.

Thanks guys,

It was an unforgettable experience, and my buddy managed to film most of it too. Cant wait to try for another next week.

Slightly different fishing from the lochs I started on in the Orkney isles!

Very nice! Wherever you are, it doesn't seem to be very cold. We were fortunate for most of the winter in southern Ontario. Temperature finally went to seasonal this past few days. -14C right now... gulp....

What wt fly rod are you using for those flies?

My passion is my wife and then my fishing. Sometimes she thinks it is the other way around.

Living in Southern Ontario, close to Rice Lake.
