  1. :lol2: Sounds like that guy was a piece of :poop: You handled it better than I would have. I would have been so mad that I would have forgot to get the boat #.
  2. I am not 100% sure on this, but I think the guy at the fly shop said that the Silky EP Fibers are thinner and wispier than the regular EP Fibers. I say, if you can get it that cheap($10 for 10in. were I get them) , then get some of both and try them out, for yourself.
  3. Whatevewr you are low on or what you you have been wanting for a little while. That or the EP Fibers. I really like them.

I don't know. But I have noticed the same thing you have.
  5. Some adults can hear them(my dad can when it is turned up). Can any of you hear it? I am 13, so I can still hear it.(I can vouch for the annoying part.)
  6. A wealthy old lady decides to go on a photo safari in Africa, taking her faithful aged poodle named Cuddles, along for the company. One day the poodle starts chasing butterflies and before long, Cuddles discovers that she's lost. Wandering about, she notices a leopard heading rapidly in her direction with the intention of having lunch. The old poodle thinks, "Oh, oh! I'm in deep doo-doo now!" Noticing some bones on the ground close by, she immediately settles down to chew on the bones with her back to the approaching cat. Just as the leopard is about to leap, the old poodle exclaims loudly, "Boy, that was one delicious leopard! I wonder if there are any more around here?" Hearing this, the young leopard halts his attack in mid-strike, a look of terror comes over him and he slinks away into the trees. "Whew!", says the leopard, "That was close! That old poodle nearly had me!" Meanwhile, a monkey who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree, figures he can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the leopard. So off he goes, but the old poodle sees him heading after the leopard with great speed, and figures that something must be up. The monkey soon catches up with the leopard, spills the beans and strikes a deal for himself with the leopard. The young leopard is furious at being made a fool of and says, "Here, monkey, hop on my back and see what's going to happen to that conniving canine!" Now, the old poodle sees the leopard coming with the monkey on his back and thinks, "What am I going to do now?", but instead of running, the dog sits down with her back to her attackers, pretending she hasn't seen them yet, and just when they get close enough to hear, the old poodle says: "Where's that damn monkey? I sent him off an hour ago to bring me another leopard!" Moral of this story... Don't mess with old farts...age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!
  7. Great story, don't be afraid to ask any questions that you have. Welcome to the forum!
  8. Its especially bad when you start with a little corner of your parents basement and start to take over your fathers workshop. That was after I moved it to the basement because there was no more room in my room.
  9. What patterns can you make with horse hair? I got some from the horse farm next door and thought that it might be tyable. Anything is appreciated!
  10. I am not Seth. My name is Jared. My flies are redy to send. They will be sent out tomorrow. I have the address from the previous Kids Swap.
  11. Has anyone ever made a fly entirely out of household materials? I think that a fly made completely out of electrical materials would be interesting. Maybe that is because my Dad uses that stuff a lot. What are some of the more different materials you've use?
  12. 20 times better than my second!
