JarrodRuggles 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 You can easily and cheaply make mass amounts of dubbing (not for dries) All you need is yarn (such as from Wal Mart) and a blender. Cut the yarn in tiny peices (about 1/2" and smaller) and put them in the blender. Blend on low until yarn starts to ball up and look like dubbing. It works well for nymphs but dont use it on dries. Dubbing Dispencer Go somewhere like walmart and get a small plano box. One with six compartments. Drill a small whole in the lid of all six compartments. Pull dubbing through the hole and there ya go. Jarrod Ruggles
Joe Hard 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2005 Here is another one, take a peice of Craft Fur and run a brush with coarse nylon bristtles through it, like Antron dubbing. I use it in a dubbing loop by attaching clups with a few turns. This makes a long spikey haired dubbing. I also use it in very small clumps twisted onto the thread and dubbed tightly.
