What are some peoples favorite recipes and brands of material. I have been using Cortland Precision but I am having some problems with curling and such. I also added a few more sizes into my mix but am having trouble tweaking it to something that turns over nicely.

Thank you all for your reply. I just caught up after purchasing my $5 turkey tail feather. The shop has an ok selection but I was also looking for blue dun hackle and what they had was terrible but I need BWOs! Can I get away with turkey tail fibers for phesant in nymphs and such or are they too different. (Yes, I am being cheap!) Thank you all again! ED

Can anyone recommend a good place to by turkey or phesant feathers? I only have one local fly shop and they are very $$. I checked AC Moore and Michaels but no go there. Any other ideas? Thanks! ED

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew of a good video or web tutorial on the thompson whip finisher. I am getting back into fly tying and would like to start using this tool I have always had but never knew how to use. I have found a million videos etc for the other style tool but nothing on the thompson. Thanks! ED
