Due to a recent problem with a swap and the swappers that are involved with that swap left wondering without word from the SM if the swap was going to be completed or not, we have been brainstorming ideas as to how we could prevent this in the future. Our number one goal here at FTF is to protect our members and makeing sure that all swaps run smoothly. So with that in mind we have a new rule that must be followed if you want to start up a swap. This rule applys ONLY TO THE SM that starts a swap.

The old rule of having to participate in 3 swaps before you can host a swap yourself is still in effect, but we have one other requirement for the new SM. Anytime you start up a swap you MUST private message your contact info to Myself, Smalliehunter, OSD or CapeBsalar. Once you have done that we will keep track of your info privately and no one else will have access to it. This is just an easy way to get ahold of a SM that may not fulfill his duties and avoid any problems with swaps.

You only have to do this once. Once we have your info it will be held on a "SM's list" and you will not have to resend it for any future swaps you SM.

Info you must send

1- Home phone #

2-Cell phone # (if this applies)

3-Home address

Who to send it to

Anyone of these mods

Thank you

-----------------------UPDATE 5/19/2016------------------------------

NEW RULE FOR SWAPMEISTERS UPDATE

It has recently been brought to my attention that there has been a few swaps lately where the swapmeisters have taken a bit too long in getting the flies mailed back on their way to the swap participants, so this new update will address that issue.

It is understandable that things come up in life, and a fly swap will sometimes take the back seat to more important things, but we do need to put a reasonable time frame on how long it takes for the SM to get the flies sorted and back in the mail to the swappers.

So from now on all swapmeisters are required to post a reply the day of the specified end date of the swap stating if they are still waiting for any sets to come in or if they have received all sets. If all sets are received then the swapmeister has 8 days from the swap deadline to get the flies sorted and in the mail. That should give all SM's enough time to get them sorted and mailed and still deal with the hassles of everyday life as well.
