Rabit hair leech New Pattern Database Submission

Dear FTF Member,
Support FTF by Subscribing to Hatches Today! 2011 Issue - In Stock
Since 2003 FlyTyingForum.com has grown from a handful of people to 30,000 registered members and has become the largest fly tying community in the world. In 2007 I published the first issue of Hatches because I felt the FTF community could offer a printed magazine that far exceeds anything the fly tying world has ever seen published. To this day, Hatches is largely made up of articles submitted to me by FTF member and FTF will continue to play a large role in the future of Hatches. Hatches truly is a grassroots effort, unlike many of the other publications in circulation that have the backing of large media corporations. The future of both Hatches and FTF depends on the support of FTF members like you. For $7 a year, you not only help ensure that I have the resources needed to be able to offer you all of the features you enjoy today free of charge, you also get 96 pages of pure fly tying awesomeness that is worth the price by itself. Click Here for Subscription Info Thank You -Will

The head is made out dubbing but I didn't include that in the material list.

Your rabbit hair leech looks very similar to a fly a buddy of mine in Colo calls the B*tch Slap...I love it, you got big dirty Browns in your neighborhood?--because if you do the donk is hiding a bit deeper than this bad boy is going to get you and when you get that big and smart you can get a bit lazy...throw on some enormous dumbell eyes and double wrap the shank with heavy wire(it was very diffucult for me to put the second wrap on initially, but the dirty get down is the key)...the name came from the ridiculously obscene entry it makes...the first attachment is the real deal with a few rubber legs tossed in for sex appeal, and the second is what is called the B*tch Slap Lite with bead chain eyes for when your arm gets tired or the back of your head hurts from faulty casts bashing into your big fish crazed cranium...i also tie a tuft of marabou in for an ovedrdose in sensuality...

Thanks for the tip, it was a freind of mine that told me about it. He told me to use it for browns as well. I like it becaus its so effective yet simple( only 2 or 3 materials ) and requirs only basi tying skills.

Love these.

I landed my biggest LMB to date (sorry, bad angle on the photo) while trolling spot to spot looking for big pike on one.

Also landed my first couple of (baby) pike while casting off of a dock with them.

Excuse the glove, it was for landing big pike should I run in to any but my hands were pretty cold that morning and it was all I had. Of course, I soaked it before picking this little guy up, so that sort of nullified its use afterwards.

Those are awsome photos. Where is the picture with you on the lake witha kayak taken. It looks almost like the lake I kayak and fish on.

SWEET --- A FLY LOGIC REEL

I thought I was the only one in universe who bought them !!!

I am down to 6 of them........I must have owned upwards of 20 or so of them........sold most of them due to hard times.....the resale value of the reels is horrible...........but the drag systems are awesome...........

currently own: FLP 890 FLP 567 FLO 456 MB FLO 789 WB FLA 8 FLO 789 MB

Might be looking into purchasing a Nautilus fly reel shortly..............they are lighter..........
