I love the way the Pearsall's body looks, Ray. Nice.
I dig soft hackles.

I have a proposition for the forum, Ray is no longer allowed to post wet flies! He makes the rest of us look like amateurs! Lol, Ray your flies are amazing, and a great contribution to the forum!

Thanks guys.

flyfshn76 - You may want to check out Mustad Signature Hooks (Models R50, R70 and R90). They are very similar to these Daiichi hooks and make wonderful soft hackle flies. These model Mustad hooks are all basically the same shape and size, but the wire used is different gages. The R50 is fairly light weight, the R70 is medium weight and the R90 is heavy weight. You can just change hooks to adjust the weight of the fly.

I believe these hooks are also similar to the Kamasan B175, frequently used by our friends in Europe.

Thanks Ray,
I am looking to use the heavy wire for some of the steelhead flies that I tie. I like the larger hook gap. Used the partridge Big Mouth Nymph hooks last year and they worked great. Thanks again.
