Tied up some of these for the gills. They are extremely easy to tie and the gills love them.

These are tied on a size 12 mustad 3366 hook. The body is soft oval glow beads. I got these from cabelas which came 100 per pack and are size 2. They are the HAYABUSA style glow beads. The hackle is grizzly cock saddle hackle.

Since the beads are soft they will slid over the eye of the hook.

Start thread and put down a good base. End with thread near the bend of hook.
Slid bead over eye and slide to the rear. Tie in bead like dumbbell eyes with no more than 6 cross overs.
Tie in Hackle and take up to 6 turns. Tie off and clip hackle.
Slid next bead over eye and secure like the first.
Form small head and whip finish and trim.
Cement if you Like.

Are the beads sold in the flytying section or the regular fishing section ?

No I have not tried to color them. They where in the regular fishing area near the panfishing stuff at the Hammonds Cabelas. This was a couple months ago so they could have moved them. I know that Gander Mountain carries some of the Owner Hook ones but they are larger beads and you also get less beads for more Money. I have a order coming from Janns Net Craft with some of there soft glow beads so that may be another possibility.
