This is a variation of a MIKULAK SEDGE
HOOK: Dry fly 2x long,sizes 6-16

Thread: to match body color

Tail: Elk body hair,stacked one -third of shank lengh

Body: Seals fur (i used HARES EARS PLUS )

Wing:Elk body hair, in two applications

Hackle: rooster, trimmed top and bottom ( I used ginger )

Here is a pair of featherwing streamers I recently tied, they're pretty simple but looked kinda nice. I hope you enjoy them, but I'll appreciate any and all criticism :)

Here are a bunch I recently tied up. The first three are me screwing around with some new materials and the last are some quill bodies in size 22 to mimic a particularly tough hatch of bow's I experienced today. I pulled one of the bow's off of the water as it emerged and was surprised to watch it go from a reddish white to its common olive body. I'm hoping this may do the trick.
