Here are some little bass fly creations, I have lately been working on my spun deer hair. The first one uses the hair as a weed guard, it was part plan, part accident!

Thank You and Tight Lines,

Like the orange one and don't often see them different colours. Do you find the fish show a preference based on colour?

The 136 fly: Its a fly rod version of a popular plastic tube bodied gig. The color number if I remember right was 136. Great on smallmouth. Of course, many other color combinations will work too.

I find the orange and ones in yellow in size 16 - 18 work very well. The waters I fish have small clinger nymphs with some orange on them. Also alot of small golden stone flys as well. The size 18 is also good for imitating chronnies.

I've also been tying Pheasant Tail Nymphs but with a difference. This is my variation I call it a ByColour PTN. With and without beads.
