This year i am going to try a rattle foam shuffler (weedless), has a great rattle between the eyes and a nice diving wobble action from the willow-leaf of foam, then i will try the hollow belly frog which is rather weedless too.

Ooops i guess these are more 'divers'

For subsurface i can't go past EP minnows like the one Phish posted.

Pretty cool looking flies flyfishingjam. What type of foam are you using for the rattle foam shuffler?

Yup! Used mainly for Murray Cod, if you google "gutless frog" it should come up with the SBS, for the shuffler i use just some sheet foam from michaels hobby store.

I second the Circus Peanut and virtually all other big, articulated flies. They're also awesome for big browns! Just do a search for "Russ Madden's Circus Peanut" or "Kelly Galloup Circus Peanut" and you will find them. Kelly Galloup is a big proponent of articulated flies. I just bought his video on how to tie articulated streamers.

Very nice tie!

Anyone ever say that you bear a remarkable resemblance to Zach Galifianakis?

You mean he isn't Zach Galifianakis? I was so sure. Must be my hangover.....

I tie something similar with a foam willow leaf shape at the tip, and lead eyes on the hook end. Makes it do a headstand, and wiggle a lot. I have yet to catch a bass on them, but I haven't tried very hard either. I've just recently started targeting largemouth more frequently.
