The theme for August is dubbing. I assume that you will use dubbing either to form the body or perhaps the head of your fly. But the sky's the limit. Let your imagination run wild, if you so choose.

Easternfly has gotten a new job and will be moving soon. But because of this, he will have to drop out of the swap club at the end of August. However, I am pleased to announce to you that Chefben4 will be joining us to fill the vacancy. You guys be sure to welcome Chefben4 when he comes around.

Take care

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading".--Thomas Jefferson

There is no such thing as a blank day for a fisherman. It will be saved for him by the white-throated weasel, who watches his fishing from a hole in the wall under which is lying a fish that refused all flies; or by the excitment of identifying insects; or by the apple-bloosom in a nearby orchard; and no one would call that day a blank on which he has seen a king-fisher." -- Arthur Ransome Rod and Line, 1929

So flies are in mail again... Got home Saturday afternoon and checked my mail and there was a huge ziplock bag from the post office with a note saying my package was damaged. So I preceded to open it and all 3 envelopes were torn up and my fly boxes were smashed. Bright side flies were all there and undamaged.

Yikes! Wonder what kind of machine the package was caught in, Dreamcaster? Glad all the flies were there! Hopefully they will make it through this time.
