Im propably the first icelander who register on this page so there are propably many off you that dont know where on earth a country called Iceland is..... it in north europe and its frezzing here. Little bit about myseld well I live in a town near Reykjavik. Im a flyfisher and I love fishing in a lake of Thingvellir(<i>http://www.thingvellir.is/english/</i>). Otherwise I love to fish everywhere. You can read every about this famous place thingvellir on the website. Here I usually fish for brown trout and atlantic salmon. Last summer I visited Florida and went fishing for a sailfish... to make a long story shot I didn´t catch any sailfish but I cought 70 lbs Wahoo.... and what a fish. In the futhure I will try to fish many places, all over the world and hopefully you guys can help me pick the next place to fish at. Looking forward to exchange post with you... You asked for some pictures of my home waters/rivers... Here are some useful links: first pages holds a infomation only in icelandic. This place is my favorite place for fishing here in iceland. I do go here 2 - 3 times each summer and the nature here is unbeliveble.
