I'm headed off to Disneyworld and wondered if there is any opportunity to wet a line there. I read in a guidebook that it is possible to fish the "canals" on your own. Guided fishing there is out of the question on two counts - to expensive for a short time (a couple of hours for a small fortune) and I doubt any of them does flies.
I figured I'd throw my 8 wgt in my suitcase with a small selection of flies to include some hair bugs, Clousers, etc.
Anyone have any experience with the area? I've rented a car and will be there a week. I can't imagine I'll be so entranced with Disney that I'll want to spend more than a day in Epcot and maybe - if it's warm enough - a day or so in the water parks. I've been there before with the kids when they were young but this trip is just my wife and me.
My buddy, who lives in the area, can't get away to fish because it's his busy season. We've fished the Mosquito Lagoon area and I might wander over there and see if I can wade a bit.
Other than that, I was wondering if the "World" had anything to offer.
