mikechell 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2015 Once again, Dron amazes. Truly a master at innovation and improvement. An often used phrase in advertisement that is usually meaningless. Yet, with you, Dron, it applies: "New AND improved". Your patterns are so "improved" they look like a "new" pattern.
SILKHDH 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2015 I agree with Mike on his comment exactly. Adding the gill plate cut out is a neat extra step. Wish I would have seen these before I made the crease flies I made. I surely would have copied that . Nice touch Dron.

Rocco 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2015 Dronlee, Thanks that link worked for me too. Brilliant idea, Changes the wake pattern and adds bouancy and structural strength. Now how do you get the tail to ride high that way and form fit the rear foam segment over it? Do a "high tie" on the hook or make it in advance on a needle and glue it into the tail segment? U da man when it comes to innovations! Now, if we could hinge the rear segment to wiggle independently of the front segment.... Rocco
