Also, what all can they be used for?  Just stocked trout?  Wild trout like them too?  Any warm water  species?

Do you strip it in like a streamer or just let if drift or what?

i have done very well on gills, crappie,bass.  i fish most of the time with a strike indicator and a 1/64 jig head or beadhead.    rich mc

Trout, bass, perch, crappie, sunfish, carp, pickerel, shiners! The mop owns them all!

I've used rich mc's mop fly a couple of times now.  It's on it's way to becoming one of my favorites.

Yep ... and I like it ... a lot.

I can't say if it does, indeed, back up, since the water I fish is so tannin stained and dark.  But it does attract attention from all the fish that see it.
