Good luck Mike..

I have caught several peacock bass using baitfish flies from the Snook swap that Islander hosted. No pics, but I'll make sure to take some next time!

Curious, anyone having any luck on my flies?

Still hunting for my first tarpon on fly!

Why are windknots in love with me?

Can't wait for that diy trip to Acklins!!

Was just doing some searching and found these.

I think the little snapper was caught on an Agn54 pattern.

Not sure who tied the woolly buggers but they came from my furst woolly bugger swap with you all. The dark fish is a sooty grunter and the silver one is a jungle perch.

And last, but definitely not least. The attched brown was my first on dry fly and it was caught on a pattern that was tied as part of the first swap I participated in on here I think. "Grizzly riffle" if I remember rightly.

Wow! That's great Flats.  I wish I had done the loop through the zonker, instead of under it on those. But I guess the fish approved.. makes me feel good. Not sure why you'd choose to tie on mine, out of that awesome set from the snook swap, but thanks for sharing.

You'll get your poon soon enough.

Actually, the rabbit never fouled for me. I also thought it was but it never did..

It is a sweet baitfish fly man, might tie a couple myself. What hook did you use for them?

Vicente ... I'm not saying you're fibbing, exactly.  But if you needed a 7 weight to bring that fish in ... you need to spend more time at the gym.

But ... it IS a pretty little fish.

Not only did I need the 7wt I to they're the rod over my shoulder and walk away from the stream.
I do with I would've had my 4wt casting small flys on a calm stream for trout is not what an 8wt titan taper line excels at.

Finally got to test out some of my fellow fly tiers creations today on my local river. This one did the trick today. I'm not sure who tied it but thanks! I'll be ordering another dozen :)

This is one of my favourites:  It floats exceedingly well, is easy to see, and the trout seem to like it!  It is not the easiest tye- sort of like tying a small Wulff (or one of Lee's Scragglies.) But well worth the effort.
