Create the tapered body shape with dubbing stopping at the 2/3 point to leave room for the wings. Wind your razor foam or peccary up the shank to create the body. Tie off at the same 2/3 point. Prepare and mount 2 wood duck feathers in wally wing style. Split the feathers and position the wings. Wally Wing tutorial here: http://www.brucecorwin.com/bc/Blog/Entries/2010/2/21_Wally_Wing_Tutorial.html Tie in the antennae, figure eight a small amount of dubbing to cover the wing and create the thorax. Continue dubbing to create the head and tie off. Presentation Tips: As with most spinner patterns, there will be a danger of propeller action and tippet twisting. I'm not concerned about the way my spinner lands. They're twisted, crushed, and folded most of the time. | Other Flies Tied by BruceC
