now for the technique taught to me by my good friend Fred Hannie
wrap the entire body with white thread and whip finish using markers color desired colors allowing the color to bleed into the thread and other colors giving it a more natural look
add eyes and coat with epoxy leaving bubbles gives the popper a more fish like appearance as the bubbles look like scales
tie on tail and hackle whip finish and go get some fish
