Presentation Tips: Dead drift, wet fly swing, twitch, strip.

Be sure to make the body scruffy and the pick out the fibers on the head, blending them with the mallard flank.

This is a good general purpose fly that can resemble any number of food items such as mayfly nymphs, emerging caddis, damsel and dragon fly nymphs, and even small baitfish.

So far it has caught smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, bluegill, redear, green sunfish, longear, rock bass, crappie, suckers, and catfish.
