Gold oval tinsel
Red Floss 1 strand
Gray Floss 1 strand
Squirrel Tail Black
Gray hackle barb
Tying Instructions: -Tie on gold oval tinsel down the shaft of hook and end above the hook point.
-Wrap tinsel 3 times for tag and tie down. Move tinsel tail out of way.
-Tie in red floss and take thread forward 2mm.
-wrap red floss (butt) 3-4 times and tie down. Remove excess floss.
-tie in silver floss and take thread forward to 3mm before hook eye. Remove excess floss.
-wrap gray floss up hook shaft and tie down.
- wrap gold oval 4-5 times up shaft and tie down and remove excess floss.
-Tie Gray hackle in for beard, trim and cover neatly.
-Tie on Black squirrel on top, wrap thread a few times, place bead of cement on wrap and continue to wrap and finish head before whip finishing.
-Coat head with cement.
