Fly Type: Terrestrials & Midges,
Target Species: Trout,
Recommended Region: Central Canada,

Material List:
Size 12-14 wet fly hook
Black or dark brown 3/0 thread
Body-Brown, beige, or tan chenille
Shell-1/8 wide, small strip of rabbit fur strip shaved to skin.
Legs- Brown rubber legs

Tying Instructions: Taper the rabbit fur strip slightly to tie it
on at the back.
Then tie on and wrap the chenille.
Pull the rabbit strip forward and tie off at the eye.
Tie on the rubber legs and finish whip finish knot.
Very easy boatman or back swimmer pattern.

Presentation Tips: This is a fuzzy version of a boatman or backswimmer I make. The trout love this in fall.
Retrieve it with typical pause and go twitches.
Hold on tight.
