Bigtrout Caddis

Fly Type: Dry,
Target Species: Trout,
Recommended Region: General Europe,
Imitation: Caddis Flies,
Material List:
Hook: Kamasan B-170 or B-175 (depending on the size of the fish...)
Body: Foam, built up on a needle.
Wing: Thick wing
Hackle: Marc Petitjean CdC from Magic tool.
Antennas: Pheasant tail
Tying Instructions: At first, build up the body on a needle, then tie it onto the hook (see picture).
Form the wing with your scissors and color it in colors of your choice. Tie it in at the same place as the body.
Tie in the antennas.
Prepair the CdC in Magic tool and tie it as a hackle at the wing base. Pull the hackle fibers backwards for each turn.
Finish the fly with a half hitch under the antennas.
Presentation Tips: Strip it on the tail waters. Beware!
