Wooly Wog

tied by cbarnes
Fly Type: Streamers,
Target Species: Freshwater Bass,
Recommended Region: Northeast US, Southeast US,
Imitation: Frogs,
Material List:
Body and Tail: black yarn
Short shank hook

Tying Instructions: Brush out all yarn before tying in by center. I tie in three strands at a time near the center. The tail yarn in longer, and the body strands are short. After one or two turns on the yarn, pull half the yarn under and back.

Trim out everything that doesn't look like a polywog.
