Tying Instructions: I have sewing needles marked for sizing to make my extended bodies. This I have done by measuring the abdomen legnth on a standard dry fly hook and transfering a mark to the needle. Use a light wire curved hook two sizes smaller than the pattern calls for, once the extended body and thorax is tied on you end up with the proper legnth.
