rather small hook (I used a n° 2 hook) - tip/tag gold fine iron - tail orange GP crest - no butt - body black floss with broad oval gold ribbing and black hackle - two heron slips as wings - black head ...a nice simple STRIP WING pattern described in MALONE's his book ...there exists also a "n° 1 Judy of the Bogs" (wich is more a shrimp pattern)
