Goh's articulated baby brown

tied by goh
Fly Type: Streamers,
Target Species: Trout,
Recommended Region: Central US,
Imitation: General Baitfish,
Material List:
Tail: X-tra select Craft Fur
Hook: Size 6
Thread: mono
Shank: 105 lb single strand wire
Bulk: 80 lb fluorocarbon 1 inch long
Ballast: .035 inch lead wire 3/4 inch long
eyes: small bead chain
wing: X-tra select Craft Fur
Topping: Lava Lace Minnow back
Tying Instructions: 1. Start thread and tie in craft fur
2. Create shank with haywire twist on one end and open eye on the other set on perpendicular planes
3. Place shank in vice and tie it closed
4. Tie in small bead chain. Tie down fluorocarbon and then the lead on top of the fluoro. At this time, also make sure to bend the line tie end of the shank up in the same direction of the hook point so the fly travels hook up.
5. Invert the shank in the vice and tie in the craft fur wing. I used brown marker for the parr marks
6. Tie in the minnow back topping and whip finish.
Presentation Tips: I use this for swinging in current and other traditional streamer applications.
