Tie in V-rib
Build up the abdomen with the Chart. thread then cover with one strand of Pearl dyed Chart. flashabou.
wind the V-rib (9 turns)
Tie in emerger wing
Dub thorax thick and trim top & sides leaving some guard hair for legs.
Presentation Tips: For Steelhead fishing size 12-14 and a deep presentation is best. Or, Tie it in #16-18 and fish it 2 inches behing a Blue winges olive Dun in the film. You can also use the wet fly swing.
