I used blindeye salmon hooks by the master hookmaker Mr. Ronn LUCAS...his EMERALD ISLES in 4/0- tip and tag fine silver and gold floss - tail GP crest and red hackle points as a tailveiling (I forgot it on one of the two flies I post here) - body silver embossed tinsel ribbed with oval silver and a crimson/red hackle - throath teal or widgeon - underwing brown turkey with brown mallard over - two toppings - blue and yellow macaw horns - head black....a old Norvegian pattern invented in 1963 by Mr. SAND (one of the greatest flytyers of that time ...still has a son who is as good as his father)
