Tying Instructions: 1. Bring your thread back to the bend of the hook

2. Tie in the burnt orange marabou

3. Tie in the brown schlappen by the tip.

4. Using a dubbing loop, dub the body.

5. Measure the mallard flank so that it will barely extend past the bend of the hook and strip off the excess from the stem. Tie in the feather by the stem to that the tip of the feather is facing toward the rear of the fly, trim any excess stem.
