Current Tags for This Pattern Bass / Brown / collar / frog / frogs / grey / Grizzly / grouse / hackle / hook / largemouth / legs / marabou / mice / Mouse / Streamer / JailBird![]() tied by FisherOfMen Fly Type: Streamers, Target Species: Freshwater Bass, Recommended Region: Northeast US, Imitation: Mice, Material List: Thread: Grey/Brown 6/0 Legs: Two Grizzly Hackles Body: Two large Grouse Marabou Feathers Collar: Grizzly Hackle Tying Instructions: Tie in legs out in a "V", curved out&upward. Stack and tie grouse marabou towards back of hook shank to create space for collar. Tie in hackle at stem, wrapping a nice collar. Whip finish. Presentation Tips: This is my first pattern. It closely mimics and combines traits of 2 different patterns, though I did not realize this at the time of tying. This streamer is impressionistic, imitating a mouse or a frog on top, while the collar gives the marabou energy subsurface. | Other Flies Tied by FisherOfMen
