, Material List:
This is 2/0 blind eye Mustad hook - and the pattern here is 'one' of WILLIAM BLACKER's popular 'dozen'...even the pattern is given in BLACKER's his book "The Art of Fly Making"...our friend on our forum to 'our hearts' ...Mr. Robert/BOB FRANDSEN of Nicolson (Australia) ...gifted this pattern a special place in his outstanding book : " THE BLACKER COMPENDIUM" - This "SILVER and GREY" is the n° 6 out of BLACKER's dozen. I did my best as allways to tie this rendition to the best of my possibilities ...perhaps a bit to firmly/fully MIXED to stand with the rather 'sparsely' and 'fishy' dressed and mixed originals by WILLIAM BLACKER himself ...let say it's a style and decission I made myself to bring my own 'Blacker dozen' a bit more full - but all the ingredients are there from the first to the last as described in the pattern discreption (page 56 in Robert Frandsen his 'Blacker Compendium book' Tying Instructions:
Put the hook in the vise and start...
