White nymph![]() tied by Crackaig Fly Type: Nymphs, Target Species: Trout, Recommended Region: General Europe, Imitation: Caddis Flies, Material List: Hook: Grub (Scud) hook size to suit Head: Brass bead Thread: UTC Fl. Fire Orange Body: White Uni Floss Thorax/Legs: Spiky hare's ear. Tying Instructions: Slip the bead on the hook. run the thread down the hook shank in touching turns. Tie in the floss, 4 strands. Wind the thread back in touching turns to the thorax. and whip finish. Shuttle weave the floss over the body. Restart the thread and tie off the floss. Dub the thorax. Whip finish. Then, to get the full effect, wet it! (See second photo. Presentation Tips: Originally used as a single upstream nymph, or as part of a team of Czech Nymphs.
