based on my "Belgium Grub" (wich I launched earlier this year 2012) on the Classi and Artistic Salmon Fly Tying 'front'...this troutfly has a great deal of this pattern in her...read the repeated 'shrimpy' set little brown partridge feathers ...putted on some sprigs of the blue peacock for the tail...used the rests of the soft fluff of that same blue peacock for the 'inbetween body parts' and putted on a short/small blue peacock feather in front as a collar (this immediatly following the biggest partridge feather)...I am sure in bigger sizes or on Spey hooks (like Alec Jackson and so on) it must works well as a steelhead pattern toooo ...but here my target is a 'trout pattern' !
only two ingredients brown partridge feathers and blue peacock feathers - dead simple basic flytying !
Tying Instructions: put the hook in the vise and start
