tied by hexfli
Fly Type: Attractor Pattern, Inverted Hook, Streamers,
Target Species: not available Freshwater Bass, Pike, Trout,
Recommended Region: not available Central US,
Imitation: not available General Baitfish,
Material List:
Two Section Fly
Tail Section:
Hook: Dai-Riki #810 or Mustad #3366 Size 6
Tail: 4 Hackles to match the body with tips clipped so they are forked
Body: Marabou to match tail palmered
Tail Section to Body Section connection:
Take a 5"-6" piece of 20lb mono and slide tail hook to the center. Bend the mono evenly and thread pearl beads over BOTH ends of mono to lock on the trailer. You want atleast an inch of space between the body and tail. Secure to the front hook leaving enough play to allow the back hook to move freely but tight enough to keep the mono stiff.
Body Section:
Hook: Dai-Riki #810 or Mustad #3366 #4
Flash: 3-6 Strand of Flashabou to accent the body color
Body:Marabou to Match Tail Palmered 2/3 of the way to the eye of the hook
Weight: Lead Dumbell eyes tied so the hook rides upturned tied right at the eye of the hook
Head: Sculpin Wool to match the body and tail. Clipped broad and flat.
Eyes: 3D Molded eyes attached with goop

Tying Instructions: This is tied articulated style.

I have attached a bunch of pictures to show as much of this fly as possible.

Make sure you have both hooks riding upward.
Presentation Tips: Fish with short erratic strips and hang on!
