Red small uni wire

Hot orange grizzle cock hackle

Jungle Cock eyesTying Instructions:
Mount extension tubing onto 2mm plastic tube approx 1 3/4 inch long.
Wind three turns of flat floss as butt. Wind 3-4 turns of red wire as tag leaving enough for a rib. carry thread toward end of tube, looking for the dressing to end around 1.5 inches in total.
Tie in tinsel body and wind down and back up to create flat body. tie off tinsel and tie in grizzle hackle. 2 turns at the start then palmer down to the wire tag. approx 3 turns. Use the red wire to trap the hackle down and wind rib forward. Tie off rib. Tie in a bunch of blue hair 2 inch long. Apply a drop of CA or varnish to hair butts. Tie in green hair on top slightly shorter than the blue. Apply drop of CA or varnish. Select hackle with length of at least half way down tube and wind as double hackle, folding back each wrap. Tie in JC eyes slighty high and each side. Length as you wish. Tie off thread and press cone back onto the head firmly. Trim the tube that is left infront of the cone to within 2mm and then heat with a lighter to mushroom back the tube and make everything tight. Presentation Tips:
