Tail - Coachmen Brown hackle fibers

Body - Pecock herl

Wings - Grizzly hackle tips

Hackle - Coachmen Brown and Grizzly

Tying Instructions: Start the thread on the hook .
Tie in small bunch of Coachmen Brown hackle fibers for the tail.
Tie three or four Pieces of Peacock herl to the hook shank.

Twist the herl around the thread this will strengthen the finished body.

wrap the thread and herl up the shank of hook to form the body. tie off and trim excess herl. leave ample room ro tie on the wings and hackle and head.

The wings are makde of two Grizzly hackle tips
tie the tips splayed on the top of the hook.

tie on a coachmen Brown and grizzly hackle in front of the wings. Warp one of the hackle and tie off (clip excess)
wrap the secound hackle. as you wrap this hackle rock it so not to trap the hackle fibers of the other hackle.
tie off (clip excess)
wipe finish and cement.
