Body & carapice: closed cell foam strip, ~ 1/4" wide.
Hackle: Strung saddlehackle, If imitating a dragon fly, as this example is make it 2-3 hook sizes large.

Tying Instructions: Tie in the maribou for the tail. Then tie down the foam strip starting at the head going to the bend, tying in the saddle hackle and then back to the head with the excess over the hook bend. Palmer the hackle forward. Trim off the top of the hackles and fold the foam strip over, tie it down and cut it off.
