Fly Type: Wet,
Target Species: Trout,
Recommended Region: General Europe, Other,
Material List:
In order of use:

Uni 8/0 thread
Kamazan B170 size 12
Black SLF dubbing
Natural black hen hackle
Tying Instructions: Start thread just behind eye with touching turns and stop inline with barb. Do not cut tag of thread, it will be used as a rib later.

In touching turns again, bring thread to halfway point of the body. I like to add a layer of varnish for durability

sparsely dub black SLF for other half of the body, stop one eye length from eye

rib body with tag length of thread

Take appropriately sized hen hackle feather, I like the barbs to be at least 1.5 to 2 times the hook gap. Strip off half the barbs, catch in at tip and wind on as sparse or as heavy as you like.

Tie off and varnish head of fly
