GlassTail Caddis-Soft Hackle

tied by hexfli
Fly Type: Wet,
Target Species: Trout,
Recommended Region: Central US,
Imitation: Caddis Flies,
Material List:
Hook: Tiemco 2487 #14
Thread:Olive or Black
Tail: 5 Glass Beads in Caddis Green strung together on mono
Thorax:Small section of Life Cycle Muskrat Dubbing
Collar: Hen Saddle
Tying Instructions: Tying the bead tail so that it looks right is easy. String the first bead on a 3 inch piece of mono. Once you have the first bead on, fold over the mono so the ends touch and string on the rest of your beads through BOTH pieces of mono. The first bead will prevent all the rest of the beads from falling off. Then just tie it in to the hook.

Presentation Tips: Swing for the fences!
