Fly Type: General Freshwater,
Target Species: Trout,
Recommended Region: Northeast US,
Hook- Mustad 5212 #8
Bead- 1/8 Silver or Nickel
Thread - 6/0 grey
Rib- Fine Silver wire
Hackle- Grizzly Hen
Body- Racoon, Muskrat,Coyote dubbing
Tying Instructions: Slide Bead onto Hook
Start Thread onto hook, tie in small clump of Muskrat fur for the Tail.
Tie in Silver wire & Grizzly Hen at bend of hook
Make a thick noodle of dubbing & wrap dubbing up hook shank to bead & tie off.
Wrap Silver wire & Grizzly Hen together over the dubbed body to the bead & tie off.
Add a small amount of dubbing behind the Bead & Whip finish.
Take a dubbing brush & brush entire body of fly to bring out the guard hairs....then go catch fish
