Tying Instructions: Cast on thread starting one eye length back of the eye, wrap in touching wraps to bend and tie in tag. Wrap tag, tie off ane tie in tail fibers and wrap forward and back. Tie in rib and wrap to front. Die in 5 or 6 Dyed Black Peacock hurl strands and wrap back to tail and then wrap back to front. Put good amount of Head Cement over tied down herl, then wrap herl forward and tie off. Tie in Hackle and palmer in about 5 turns to the back, tie off with rib wire and bring rib forward. Trim excess hackle and rib wire. Stack squirrel tail hairs and tie in on top of front section of herl. Wing should lay almost flat on top of fly. Add drop of Zap-a-Gap to trimmed ends of wing. Tie in two peacock herls and make the head, whip finish nest to eye.
