Hook - Standard dry fly hook size #10-12
Thread - 6/0 Pre wax Yellow/Primrose
Tail - Deer hair part of extended body
Body - Primrose poly dubbing over deer hair
Ribbing - Fine gold tinsel and Palmered grizzly hackle - trimed back.
Wing - Grizzly hackle tips
Hackle - Grizzly

Tying Instructions: Start thread on hook tie the wing tips first in the spent position (splayed)
Then tie in the Deer body hair make sure to remove all short hairs and extend the hair the length of the hook shank past the bend of hook.
Wrap over the deer hair and also wind around the extend part in a figure 8 (see picture)
Tie in tinsel and grizzly hackle at rear of hook shank.
Dub thread with small amount of poly dubbing and dub body to the base of wings.
Wrap tinsel forward to base of wings tie off and trim the same with hackle
Then trim the hackle down to about 1/4 inch on body with scissors.
(be careful not to cut the wings)
Tie in collar hackle and wrap to eye of hook make head and wipe finish and cement.
