Streamer Hook Size 8-18
Black 6/0 Thread
Black Acetate Floss
Bleeched Coastal Deer
Grizzly Hackle

Tying Instructions: Carefully place hook in vice.
Lay down a single layer of thread.
Tie in a few strands of deer hair for a tail.
Wrap on a good body with the black floss.
Whip finish.

Place fly in acetone for 3-5 minutes.
Remove fly and allow to dry.
(I usually prepare several flies to this point)

Place fly in vise.
Wrap on grizzly hackle and secure.
Tie on sparse deer wing over the hackle.
Tie down and whip finish.
Presentation Tips: This fly is a good prospecting fly in spring and summer and can be fished wet or dry depending on how much hackle you use. (Try using different floss colors too)
