Fly Type: Attractor Pattern,
Target Species: Steelhead,
Recommended Region: Northeast US,

Hook- TMC 2487 Size 12
Thread-3/0 White & Brown 8/0
Tail- Orange Ultra Chenille.
Underbody-WhiteThread & Holo Christmas Tinsel.
Abdomen- Orange and Tan Bug Wrap.
Legging- Brown CDC feather.
Head- Brown Ostrich hurl.
Black Nickel Bead.
Tying Instructions: 1. Slide on Bead and start with white 3/0 thread.
2. Burn end of Chenille and attach to top rear of hook.
3.Tie in Bug Wrap just behind bead and work to the rear.(helps build up the body)
4. Build up body with thread and tie in Holo tinsel near the head. Palmer it to the rear and back.(sparkles nicely through the Bug Wrap and not a item to leave out).
5.Whip finish and remove bobbin from fly.
6.Overhand weave to just shy of the bead.
7. Use 1or 2 Wraps of CDC feather for the legging tying it ontop of the weave just behind where it was tied off.
8.Tie in Ostrich and add as many wraps as needed to make a nice head. Whip finish and Your done.
Presentation Tips: I'd fish this fly drifted into a pool that has Reds above. It could pass for what it is or mistaken for a egg pattern LoL!
