.03 dia wire tied the length of the Hook and hanging out for the tail. A strip of craft foam in between the wires to thicken. wrap with kevlar thread. Coat with polycrylic.

The legs are 6 lb. mono.with .02 dia. wire to stiffen and thicken. Wrap with 6/0 thread to smooth it out. Coat with polycrylic and Black acrylic paint mix.

The body and head are foamboard. Shaped by hand. Grooved to fit over the hook. Filled gaps with epoxy. Paint with polycrylic and Brown acrylic mix. Added detail. 1 coat of clear polycrylic.

The wing are my own design. Stamped for shape and texture. Clear coated with clear polycrylic.

The cattail is foamboard and a stick widdled down to shape. Painted with acrylic paint.
