Tying Instructions: Tie in the tail 2/3 the length of the shank. I wrap thread around the tailing fibers the length of the body fold the fibers back over and work my thread to the rear of the hook . this gives the body a fatter look . I use the same fibers to twist and wrap for the body as I use for the tail if you need too you can tie in a few more fibers be careful not to make the fly too fat. wrap wire 3 to 4 turns tie off and cut 6 to 10 fibers from tail feather and tiein for wing case, form small noodle fo Ice dub and form thorax . Pull wing case over and give threa 3 to 4 turns . Select 3 fibers on each side of the hook and pull back for legs. tie off the wing case with a whip finish knot and clip the legs top length. push the bead back and finish off with a small neat head.
